The Maine Oyster Festival Shucking Schedule: Saturday, June 24, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Sunday, June 25, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: L.L.Bean Moose Parking Lot, Nathan Nye, & the lot behind Freeport Historical Society
What to Expect: Raw oysters will be available from sea farms & mobile shuckers. They each have the choice of participating on one or both days. We will be using a ticket system where you can purchase vouchers in advance or when you arrive for $2 each. One $2 ticket = one raw oyster from anyone at the Festival. Food trucks, some farms & mobile shuckers will also offer grilled, fried, or smoked oysters and other food for sale directly by cash or credit cards. Most will also have shirts, hats, shucking tools and other items for sale too. Be sure to try our signature mignonettes by FIORE Olive Oils & Balsamic Vinegars & official hot sauce, Scurvy Dog by Captain Mowatt’s!
