  • Katie Coppens, author of The Acadia Files, will help kids with a hands-on science activity at her booth! – Booth 38 & 39 (Town Hall)
  • Kids are invited to play with Legos. Hosted by Renewal by Andersen. – Booth 86 (Mallard Parking Lot)
  • Stop by to learn about healthy eating habits at a make-your-own trail mix station. Plus, face-painting! Hosted by Mending. – Booth 136 (Mallard Parking Lot)
  • Kids can stop and pick up a free coloring book to take home. Hosted by LeafFilter Gutter Protection. – Booth 150 (Mallard Parking Lot)
  • Kids are invited to go on a magical quest. Hosted by Kids Arcanum. – Booth 196 & 197 (Freeport Village Station) 
  • Kids can make a paper lotus flower to take home. Hosted by Falun Dafa Association of New England. – booth 201 (Freeport Village Station)
  • Kids can make their own bead tree to take home. Hosted by Wolf Willow Trees. – Booth 224 & 225 (135 Main Street)
  • Kids are invited to stop to meet the artist behind Waiting for Halloween for a trick and a treat while supplies last. – Booth 250 (135 Main Street)

Mallard Stage Schedule:

12PM – 12:45PM: Stone Free. Nostalgic blend of old and new light rock and country hits.

1:15PM – 2PM: Bear Camp Radio. Laid-back indie folk.

2:30 – 3:15PM: Becky Krill. Soulful vocals over warm, nostalgic and inspired compositions.

3:45PM – 5:45PM:  Lee Stearns. Acoustic & electric covers.

 

MADE (31 Main St) Stage Schedule:

12PM – 12:45PM: Ronnie Mocciola. Slow, sad songs that mix images of lonesome back woods and coast lines, to up beat foot stompers that plunge into the dark side of living in a rural landscape.

1:15PM – 2PM: Shana Aisenberg & Gale Johnsen. Appalachian, old time, Celtic, New England Contradance, klezmer and more!

2:30PM – 3:15PM: Krys Beal. Unique and nostalgic blend of old and new top 40’s hits.

3:45PM – 5:45PM: Andrew Thomas. Piano pop!

Discovery Park Stage Schedule:

12PM – 1PM: Uprise Lite with Sami. This signature class is your playful invitation to reconnect with your body at your own pace. With an electric playlist, low-impact moves, and a party atmosphere, it’s perfect for beginners, baby-wearers, or anyone with hip or knee issues – leaving you lighter, energized, and exhilarated.

1:30PM – 2:30PM: Seth Gallant. Folk songwriting and roots music from Milltown New England.

3PM – 4PM: Yoga with Live Percussion. Join us for a grounded and playful yoga flow set to the dynamic beat of live percussion by talented musician Pete Whitehead. This once-a-lifetime musical movement experience will help you reach levels of presence and peace that you hadn’t thought possible. Perfect for beginners & experiences yogis alike.

4:15PM – 4:45PM: Little Soul Dancers. This child-friendly class welcomes young dancers (ages 2-10) to explore what it means to feel at home and happy in their bodies. Through creative movement, age-appropriate choreography, and games that spark joy, we inspire kids toward a love for dance that goes beyond performance and perfectionism.

5PM – 6PM: Family-friendly DJ dance party with Tha Professa 

Please note: In the event of wet weather, the Discovery Park Stage activities will be relocated to the Uprise studio at 21 Main Street, directly across from the Town Hall festival site. 

Family Activities: 

12PM – 3PM: Create an oyster shell ornament with Freeport Community Services! – Booth 6 (Town Hall)

3PM – 6PM: Get a temporary tattoo! Hosted by State of Maine – Office of MaineCare Services. – Booth 6 (Town Hall)

3PM – 6PM: Make dried flower bookmarks with the Freeport Community Library. – Booth 120 (Mallard)

3PM – 6PM: Make a craft with the staff of Wolfe’s Neck Center. – Booth 219 (135 Main Street)

Saturday, October 4

Mallard Stage Schedule:

10AM – 10:45AM: Krys Beal. Unique and nostalgic blend of old and new top 40’s hits.

11:15AM – 1:15PM: John Sayles. Singer, songwriter, guitarist, and producer.

1:45PM – 2:30PM: Wes Covey. Fingerpicking folksinger.

3PM – 3:45PM: Anna Jones. Blends folk and indie roots with storytelling and folklore.

4:15PM – 6PM: Jack Fossett. Award-winning, independent guitarist, singer and songwriter who takes an Americana approach to blues and rock with hints of folk, roots and jazz.

 

MADE (31 Main St) Stage Schedule:

10AM – 10:45AM: Pine Ridge Ramblers. Acoustic bluegrass, Americana, and folk music.

11:15AM – 12PM: Anna Jones & Mary Fairfield. Blends folk and indie roots with storytelling and folklore.

12:30PM – 2:30PM: Ashlyn Bard. Self-therapy through songwriting and storytelling.

3PM – 3:45PM: An Overnight Low. Portland indie pop.

4:15PM – 6PM: Joe Sweeney. Original tunes on ukulele.

Discovery Park Stage Schedule:

10:30AM – 11:15AM: Uplift with Anne. This signature class is your invitation to feel strong and recharged. A rhythm-based strength experience blending functional resistance training with deep muscular activation. In this class you’ll discover new places of resilience within yourself.

11:30AM – 12:30PM: Sigrid Sibley. Singer-songwriter from Maine. Guitar, mandolin, & vocals.

1PM – 1:30PM: Little Soul Dancers. This child-friendly class welcomes young dancers (ages 2-10) to explore what it means to feel at home and happy in their bodies. 2PM – 4PM: Red Tail Hawk. Red Tail Hawk’s music is a vibrant fusion of alternative, groove rock, and pop. They capture audiences with soaring melodies, heady grooves, and high-energy performances that have earned them distinction on Boston’s north shore. Frontman Ben Zanfagna is a fluent vocalist & sax player whose songwriting and arrangements have been inspired by raw experience, blues, jazz, and soul but are never bounded by conventional norms.

10AM – 6PM: Kids are invited to get their hands dirty! Hosted by Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. – Booth 219 (135 Main Street)

10AM – 6PM: Meet the Freeport Lionesses and create! Make a free craft to take home. – Booth 120 (Mallard)

10AM – 2PM: Local artists will work with kids to create a fun take home art piece. Hosted by Meetinghouse Arts. – Booth 6 (Town Hall)

11AM – 3PM: Meet adoptable pups from New England Lab Rescue! – Find them on the lawn near the stone pillars. (Town Hall)

2PM – 6PM: Get creative with Sweetser. – Booth 6 (Town Hall)

Sunday, October 5

Mallard Stage Schedule:

10AM – 12PM: Paddy Mills. Award-winning folk singer/songwriter whose songs are as salty as the Maine coast he calls home.

12:30PM – 1:15PM: Wes Covey. Fingerpicking folksinger.

1:45PM – 2:30PM: Trisha Mason. Downeast singer & songwriter.

3PM – 3:45PM: Becky Krill. Soulful vocals over warm, nostalgic and inspired compositions.

 

MADE (31 Main Street) Stage Schedule:

10AM – 10:45AM: Doug Kolmar. Explores the beauty and trouble of our inner and outer worlds with compassion, wit, and insight.

11:15AM – 12PM: Trisha Mason. Downeast singer & songwriter.

12:30PM – 1:15PM: Alice Limoges. Strong folk-style voice on original songs.

1:45 – 3:45PM: Sorcha Cribben-Merrill & Chris Robley. Americana and indie-pop songs. Folk/pop/soul covers.

Discovery Park Stage Schedule:

10:30AM-11:15AM: Pilates with Nicolle. Uprise Hot Pilates invites you to kindle your core energy! You’ll move through more traditional exercises rooted in Pilates precision, perfect for anyone seeking impact-free intensity or who’s looking for a balance to our higher-intensity classes. For when you aren’t feeling like dancing – you can still connect to your core.

11:30AM-12:15PM: STEP UP. Pure joy in motion. A beat-based blend of step aerobics, hip-hop, Afrobeat, and dancehall, with choreography that’s playful (but never intimidating) and music that makes it impossible not to move. You’ll leave feeling like the 17 year old Dancing Queen you were always meant to be.

12:30PM-1:30PM Mike Wallingford. Guitar & vocals.

1:30PM-2:30PM Benny Z. Original music inspired by nature; guitar, cello, and vocals.

3PM–4PM Emily Sclar & The Galaxy. Maine native. Live string band.

Family Activities: 

10AM – 4PM: Kids are invited to get their hands dirty! Hosted by Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens. – Booth 219 (135 Main Street)

10AM – 4PM: Use rainbow breathing to make a bracelet or keyring. Hosted by Girl Scouts of Maine, Travel Sisters Troop. – Booth 120 (Mallard)

10AM – 1PM: Local artist instructors will work with kids to create something special to take home. Hosted by ArtVan. – Booth 6 (Town Hall)

1PM – 4PM: Get creative with the Center for Arts & Ecology at the Desert of Maine. – Booth 6 (Town Hall)
